4 Ways to Stay Well This School Year.

As school gets into full swing, don't let wellness drop down the to-do list.

Figuring out a new routine and accomplishing all you set out to do can include your wellness too. As the school year unfolds, keep reminding yourself what being well looks like to you.

We asked educators across the country for some of their go-to tips for staying well.

Here's what they said:

Keep a balanced life, knowing you can't be everywhere at once and you can't do everything at one time. Be willing to say no. - Tanya, Clinton, NC

Use affirmations–speaking words over your day and throughout it. May your words be as strong as your practice, and as rich and freeing as your movement. - Chris, Ft. Lauderdale, FL

Start with 10 minutes of stretching in the morning and evening. Make time for a bubble bath, even if it is at 10:00pm after everyone else is asleep. Sit at your desk for 5 minutes and sip that cup of coffee. - Bethany, Hammond, LA

Be vocal and tell your story. Journal, document, and share your journey with others. It’s so important that we do. People will never understand the job we do if we don’t share our stories. - Abbie, Janesville, WI
